Dear Customer Support Professional:
Thank you for making a product that works. I drive a 1998 Ford Expedition with over 215,000 miles showing on the odometer. On Saturday, April 21, 2018, I drove from Falls Church, Virginia to Kennesaw, Georgia, over 650 miles. Just as I passed Knoxville, Tennessee I noticed a mist forming on the rear window and, although it had been raining, the road was drying up and I knew this mist was likely coming from somewhere else, somewhere sinister.
I was pretty sure the engine was leaking coolant and I felt as nervous as Jim Lovell aboard the Apollo 13 as he noticed something venting. “Houston, we have a problem, We are venting something out into the - into space.” (CDR Jim Lovell, Apollo 13, April 14, 1970) My situation wasn’t nearly as dire as the one the Apollo 13 astronauts faced but I, like them, pressed on. Me with a keen eye on the engine temperature gauge.
I arrived at my destination without further incident. The next day I purchased one bottle of Bar’s Leaks Liquid Aluminum (1186) and applied the product exactly as directed by the instructions on the bottle. The leaking stopped. A few days later I drove the 650 miles to Virginia and almost a year later the car operates with no coolant leaks.
Thank you for making a product that works. If it would not be too much to ask can you send me a Bar’s Leaks sticker I can affix to my vehicle as a pleasant reminder of the protection your products provide?
p.s. I mailed this letter on the date indicated. I received the set of stickers today in the mail. Further proof in the effectiveness of the letter and the United States Postal Service.
